Three kinds of case, never confused: client engagements, public-company analyses and teaching cases. Each carries its label, so that analysis is never mistaken for client validation.
Client engagements
Client engagementReal DCT Advisory and DCT Helix engagements. A client engagement is published only with the client's written permission for every element shown: the company's name and logo, executives' names and titles, quotations and results. Results are reported only when they show in the accounts, the standard DCT Helix applies to benefits.
Client engagements are published here only with the client's written approval.
Public-company analyses
Public-company analysisThis analysis applies the DCT framework retrospectively. The company did not necessarily use DCT.
Teaching and simulation cases
Teaching caseFictional cases that show DCT applied end to end. Meridian, the book's case company, runs through both volumes.
